Ingredients

Scrub and clean the clams using water and try opening each clam. Loosen the muscle underneath the clam meat.

Step 1

Remove the top shell and discard. Leave the clams and their juices in the bottom shells and place them in a single layer in a baking dish.

Step 2

Mix the breadcrumbs, cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper, then add the olive oil. Stir in the lemon juice.

Step 3

Spoon the clam juice over each of the clams and stuff each of them with the breadcrumb mixture, packing it down using your fingers.

Step 4

Bake the stuffed clams until it's cooked and the breadcrumbs are golden brown Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
