  How to make step by step

Ingredients:  – Egg yolks -Granulated Sugar Cornstarch –Pistachios (blended, shelled, and blanched pistachios) – Milk – Vanilla extract

1- Boil pistachios and remove shells with a clean kitchen cloth. The shells will remove easily.

2- Beat egg yolk, sugar, and cornstarch with an electric mixer until pale yellow. Set aside.

3- Add pistachios to food processor (or high power blender) with only ¼ cup (60ml) of the milk. Blend until smooth. Add egg mixture and combined.

4- Heat rest of the milk to simmer. Add the pistachio mixture and whisk constantly until thick cream. Add vanilla extract.

When the pistachio cream is well thickened it will stick to the back of a spoon and not drip off.
