granulated Sugar

egg yolks

cornstarch

pistachio 

vanilla extract

Cook the shelled pistachios and drain. Loosen and discard the pistachio's skin.

Whip the egg yolks, sugar, and cornstarch in a medium bowl.

Grind the pistachios in a food processor with milk until smooth. Mix in the whipped ingredients.

Step 3

Heat milk until a soft boil. Remove from heat and add the pistachio mixture. 

Step 4

Once incorporated, simmer until the cream thickens. Take out from heat and add vanilla extract.
