Toast the sliced ciabatta bread.
Cook the sausage in the skillet and remove once cooked.
Add the onion, carrots, and celery to the skillet.
Stir in the herbs and garlic in the skillet.
Transfer the vegetable mixture to the bowl and toss in the toasted bread.
Pour the broth into the bowl.
Beat the eggs and stir them in the bowl.
