Blanch the spinach until wilted.
Transfer the spinach to ice water. Drain and squeeze out the water.
Chop the spinach and sauté the onion and garlic in a skillet.
Stir in the heavy cream and cream cheese in the skillet.
Bring to a soft boil and add the rest of the ingredients.
