Ingredients

olive oil

white wine

saffron

butter

Combine and stir the white wine and saffron threads.

Step 1

Warm the stock in a medium-heat saucepan. Sauté the onion.

Step 2

Add the rice and sautéed onions in the saucepan.

Step 3

Pour the white saffron mixture and stir constantly.

Step 4

Slowly add the hot stock to the rice and stir frequently.

Step 5

Continue adding the stock and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.

Step 6

Remove the pot from heat and stir in the cheese and butter.

Step 7

Recipe Tip!

If possible, use homemade chicken stock.
