Heart-Shaped Jam Thumbprint Cookie Recipe

These Heart Thumbprint cookies are so cute and fun to make! These are sweet, soft and buttery and are infused with the delicious flavors of vanilla and almond.

Ingredients

Cream the butter sugar & salt until light and fluffy in a bowl using a hand or stand mixer.

Step 1

Add the eggs to the mixer on low speed until combined. Then add the vanilla and almond extract,

Sift the dry ingredients into the egg-butter mixture.

Step 3

Transfer the dough to a different bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and refrigerate.

Step 4

Divide and roll the dough into a small ball. Then, arrange them on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 5

Use your thumb or finger to gently press each cookie dough ball making a small heart shape.

Step 6

Add your preferred jam in the center of each cookie to fill the heart shape.

Step 7

Bake until lightly golden at the edges and let it cool on a cooling rack.
