Heat the olive oil and sauté the onion.
Stir in the garlic.
Pour the crushed tomatoes and add the chili flakes and salt. Let it simmer while stirring occasionally.
Make small wells and crack the eggs over them, one at a time. Sprinkle salt on each egg.
Cover the skillet and let it simmer.
Sprinkle the cheese over the eggs and the basil leaves. Drizzle with a bit of olive oil.
