Perfect Pan-Seared Steak Recipe

There's no need to drive across town to eat a great steak. This recipe is easy and simple, with the best ingredients making cooking your perfect steak a breeze!

Prepare and thoroughly pat the steaks dry with a paper towel. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 1

Heat the pan and add the olive oil. When it's ready, add the steaks.

Step 2

Sear the steak until a brown crust has formed, then flip and cook the other side (see exact times in doneness guide)

Step 3

Reduce heat and add the butter, quartered garlic cloves, thyme, and rosemary to the pan.

Step 4

Spoon the butter sauce over the steak while tilting the pan slightly.

Step 5

Remove from heat and transfer the cooked steak to a cutting board. Cover with foil and let it rest.

Step 6

Cut the cooked steak into strips and serve with extra butter sauce on the side.
