The quintessential, super-delicious, and traditional Italian dish that not only makes the house smell amazing but is also a crowd pleaser and goes perfectly with any recipe.



Meat Sauce) Lasagna pasta noodles Parmigiano cheese Butter unsalted All-purpose flour Milk Parmigiano Nutmeg Salt

Cook the pasta in boiling water until al dente.

Step 1

Cover the lasagna noodles with clean tea towels while waiting to layer the lasagna pan.

Step 2

Add the tomato or ragu sauce to the bottom of the pan. Then add the first layer of pasta.

Step 3

Add the bechamel sauce followed by bolognese meat over the layers of pasta.

Step 4

Add the Parmigiano cheese. You can also add mozzarella if you want it to be more cheesy.

Step 5

Repeat the process and finish with bechamel sauce and extra Parmigiano cheese then bake.
