Delicious Pasta e Fagioli Recipe

The warm, comforting aroma of this Authentic Italian Pasta e Fagioli Recipe will have you craving a bowl tonight! A classic soup made with- small pasta, beans, pancetta, and simple veggies in a delicious broth!

Ingredients

celery

rosemary

garlic 

olive oil

salt & pepper

Cook the pancetta, onions, carrots, celery, and rosemary for about 5 minutes.

Step 1

Add and sauté the garlic until fragrant. Then add half of the beans, crushed tomatoes, and chicken stock.

Step 2

Puree the remaining half of the beans and add to the pot.

Step 3

Add the pasta and season with salt and pepper. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

Step 4

Stir in olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Then serve.

Step 5

Pasta e Fagioli  Tips:

Take time to blend a cup of the beans to thicken the broth.

You can also use a large stock pot if you are doubling this recipe.
