Easy Italian Pea and Ricotta Frittata Recipe

This frittata is easy peasy, cheesy, and savory. It comes together in less than 30 minutes so you can whip this up any night of the week!

Petite frozen peas Onion Olive oil Basil Parmigiano cheese Eggs Ricotta cheese Bread crumbs Butter Salt Pepper

Ingredients

Grease a round tart or pie dish with butter and coat the bottom and sides with bread crumbs.

Step 1

Sauté the onion, peas, and basil with olive oil in a skillet and season with salt and pepper. Let it cool for about 15 minutes.

Step 2

While waiting for the sautéed peas to cool off, whip the eggs and ricotta using an electric mixer or by hand.

Step 3

Add the Parmigiano cheese to the egg mixture and combine using a fork.

Step 4

Add the sautéed peas to the egg mixture. Then, pour it into the prepared baking dish. 

Step 5

Sprinkle additional Parmigiano cheese if desired and bake it for 20-25 minutes.

Step 6

Let the frittata set for 10 minutes before cutting.

Beat Eggs Well.

DO NOT use Fresh Veggies.

DO NOT Over Bake!
