Prepare, clean, and rinse the clams thoroughly. Remove any sand or grit. Then sauté the garlic in heated olive oil and add the red pepper flakes.

Step 1

Add the clean clams to the skillet. Pour the white wine and cover the skillet until the clams have opened. Stir occasionally.

Step 2

In a large pot of water with salt, bring them to a boil and add the spaghetti. Cook until al dente and reserve some pasta water.

Step 3

Transfer the cooked clams to a bowl. Pour the reserved pasta water into the skillet and bring to a boil. Drain & transfer the pasta to the pan. 

Step 4

Add the clams and any juices back to the pan along with chopped parsley. Toss to combine and transfer to a serving platter.
