Vegetarian Spinach and Ricotta Lasagna

This delicious Lasagna is simply the best! Made with wholesome ingredients and decadent flavors, it's the perfect recipe for any occasion.

Ingredients

Prepare and make the homemade Italian tomato sauce and set it aside.

Step 1

Sauté the spinach and remove excess liquid, let it cool. Mix the spinach, ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, herbs, and spices to make the filling.

Step 2

Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted water (bring it to a boil first before adding the noodles). Set aside in a bowl of cold water until ready to use.

Step 3

In a rectangular baking dish, grease it with olive oil and spread a good amount of tomato sauce.

Step 4

Place a layer of pasta in the dish and top with a layer of tomato sauce, 1/3 of spinach and ricotta mixture, and 1/3 of mozzarella.

Step 5

Repeat the layering process three times. Then cover with extra cheese. And bake for about 35 minutes.
