Baked Stuffed Lumaconi Pasta

The goodness of this dish is that it's a comforting pasta recipe, with the addition of spinach that gives it some extra nutrients to stay healthy.

Ingredients

onion

tomato sauce

spinach

mozzarella cheese

ground sausage

Cook the onion, sausage, and garlic in a skillet until crispy edges. Let it cool.

Step 1

Combine the egg, spinach, ricotta cheese, mozzarella, Parmigiano, basil, and cooked sausage. Then, set aside.

Step 2

Cook the pasta shells in the boiling pot with salted water. Drain and set on a clean tea towel.

Step 3

Coat the bottom of the baking dish with olive oil and pour half of the tomato sauce.

Step 4

Stuff the shells with the meat mixture and arrange them in the baking dish. Then pour the remaining sauce.

Step 5

Sprinkle with the rest of the cheese and bake for 30 minutes.
