    It's Pie Time!

What do you think of a pie crust ice cream sandwich? Let me answer that, it is delicious!

A cutie pie and a scoop of ice cream walk into a bar... the end. Well, not really. There is always a lot of ice cream eating going on at our house , so we decided to partner our love for pie and ice cream to create a...PiesCream Sandwich. My husband masterminded this combo as his favorite food groups are: pie and ice cream. The flaky tender, slightly salty, not to sweet, cinnamon coated pie crust meets the sweet, creamy, smooth ice cream and it is a true match made in heaven. I personally like them better than a traditional cookie ice cream sandwich since these are less sweet and I don't fall into a slumber sugar coma after enjoying. If you like pie crust and ice cream I encourage you to get on this sweet treat train. The best part is they are customizable. You can use any favorite ice cream flavors- endless possibilities! Next time, I think I will go fruity and try blueberry and peach ice cream? This pie crust is also vegan and if your diet is non dairy- fill the pies with any dairy-free ice cream alternative. One more thing, make a double batch and save them in your freezer for any time you feel like a little something special. I promise they won't last long.
